When Alicia from Lily Jayne Florists got in touch with me and asked if I would photograph a Spring Styled Shoot she was organising – I didn’t have to think twice! It is so nice to have time, be creative and take pictures of all the amazing suppliers work. The theme for the shoot, set by Alicia was greenery, soft spring tones such as blush with a bohemian and soft feel. We used The Red Barn as a venue with their bare brick, field views and a rustic feel. This worked so well with the colour tones of the flowers and the general vibe of the shoot.
Any one who knows my work, knows that I love a big sky, the countryside and a relaxed laid back feel to a wedding, so I was in my element. As with my post on Autumn bridal Inspiration – when planning a spring wedding – think about all the things you love about spring – is it spring sunshine, blossom, new life, the feeling of waking up from the winter, blue skies and see how that all fits in with your wedding. I am a big believer that wedding themes, planning, colours etc should always be about you, representative of you. With Make Up completed by Make-Up with Laura Gray and dresses supplied by Treasures Bridal in King’s Lynn – everything came together.
I hope you are able to take some inspiration from the pictures for your Spring Wedding.
