Sarah & Josh Got Married

I am so pleased to share with you the full wedding of Josh & Sarah at Holbeach Church and then a reception at their parents garden out in the Lincolnshire Fens. Building up to the day, there were worries about the weather – which Im sure every couple does in wanting it to be fine – but on the day, everything was perfect with the day starting of cloudy but breaking in to sunshine for the afternoon. Arriving at Sarah’s parents house, the parents were doing finishing touches around the garden, Sarah arrived home from the hairdressers with the girls and then the day was in full swing. Everything had such a relaxed vibe and something that was so special to see (and I have not seen before) was that Sarah’s dad was the one to put in her veil and see to those finishing touches. Still now, it is the only time I have seen that and just thinking about it makes me smile.
Arriving at the church, Josh took a few deep breaths and as Sarah arrived at the aisle with him, in honesty I don’t think he was the only one in the church to shed a few tears. Something about how their faces lit up, how they looked at each other, how it was like they were the only 2 people in that church all made for great moments. Family are super important to both Sarah & Josh so after lots of family groups ensuring everybody were in pictures at some point, laughs and banter throughout the group pictures – the pair sped off in their car out to the marquee reception.
The garden looked incredible and so much thought had gone in to ensuring guests could be entertained, they had games to play, rustic details, thoughtful touches and a cake made by Dad too! Family and friends got stuck in to the games, catching up with each other and before we knew it everybody was heading in to take their seat. The receiving line was one of the best I have every photographed – it was animated, full of laughter and as the 2 families knew each other – lots of jokes going on too.
The day was an absolute pleasure and I loved being able to capture all your moments. Many Congratulations and here is the story of your day!
