Becky & Adam Say ‘I Do’
Last summer, I got to capture a wedding full of so much emotion, love, kindness and family. I honestly left feeling like I had just experienced the closest family moments ever on a wedding day. It was an honour that they allowed me in to those moments, trusted me to capture them in such an authentic way and it was all of those reasons why this wedding was super special to me. I left with my heart feeling full at how beautiful and important family is.
Becky and Adam had their ceremony at Parson Drove Church. Considering it is such a small and tiny church, in a small village, I had actually photographed there before at THIS wedding and I remembered there being this beautiful dome like tower, a pretty gate and lovely spots for pictures. It was just how I remembered it. Modern but intimate. I am pretty certain that everybody looked on to the ceremony with a smile on their face. A few spots of rain (that is good luck on your wedding day) didn’t deter us from getting the pictures finished before we headed over to The Timbers Country Lodge for their reception. We embraced use of the fields next to the lodge for couple pictures before heading in to what I can only describe as an exquisitely dressed marquee. The space was transformed with so much pretty, feminine softness, clearly a love for flowers and lots of detail. The emotions continued through the speeches and right through to the dance floor. It really was a day filled with love, laughter and happiness (as the speeches say!).
Thank you so so much for trusting me to get in close, capture those moments and bring together the story of your day. I literally cant wait to see you again in 2018 for your sisters wedding too! Much love and congratulations. Jo x
