Some of you may recognise Louise as I first met her a few years ago when I offered to provide a fun photobooth at a charity ball she was organising to raise money for Cancer Research and from that I have had the opportunity to photograph her a few times now. Once with her partner, she modelled for me on a 1940’s styled shoot and then again more recently with her family. However it has been more than photoshoots, over the last few years a friendship has grown and our paths have crossed many times with me photographing her friends, her friends babies and coming up later this year her friends wedding. One thing that has really struck me with Louise, is that everybody who knows her always talks so highly of her, they adore her and she has become that special person in her friends children’s lives as well. Enough of the mushy stuff – let me tell you some of the good stuff – she makes awesome cakes, she is super organised, she is incredibly positive and happy and did I mention she makes great cakes!!
So, how does Louise fit in and how is SummerLove changing? My biggest aim this year is to make sure I offer a more personal service. Looking back I have realised that leading up to your Photo Sessions, there is lots of contact, we have a great photography session and then I pop up a gallery and leave you to it. It feels a little impersonal and as a result, I want to be able to share those pictures with you, go through those memories and continue with the contact and support about choosing your favourite images, working out what will be nice on your wall or how they can fit into an album so I moved into in-person viewings this year. Unfortunately, I quickly realised that I just couldn’t offer these in a timely way because of photography commitments and people were having to wait longer to see their images. It is here that Louise fits in. After your photography session, she will contact you and get you booked in 10 – 20 days after the session and then go through that process with you. I couldn’t have asked for somebody better to do this for you and I know you will all adore her as much as I do!
I am really looking forward to this next stage of the business and I am so thankful having such a great team around me. Anyway lets meet Louise …
“Hi, I’m Louise (Lou) and the newest member of the Summer Love team. I’m the lucky one who gets to meet with you to view your images after your shoot, and help you make the difficult decision on which products you’d like. I first met Jo at a charity event I organised with a friend in 2012, where she kindly offered to be there with her Fun Photobooth for the evening. Since then she has taken many many photographs of me, my friends and family, and has become a friend. I’m a busy person – I hate sitting still for too long. I love being with friends and family, and they’d all tell you I live to organise! I also enjoy baking, I have an unhealthy obsession with stationery and I love my 2 cats to bits! I can’t wait to meet you and share your memories!”
