The very beautiful Marena turned 21 and had the most amazing and beautiful party to celebrate … it was filled with family, cake, love and colour .. oh! how much colour was there! I left feeling a little brighter and like i wanted to ditch all the black tops i own for some serious colour! It was beautiful and fun.

Wow! It was so good to have some good ol proper sunshine at yesterdays wedding … it was warm, sunny and everywhere was bathed in a gorgeous warm hue ~ I was in my element! The wedding planners at the White House put today’s wedding together beautifully, everything ran smoothly and like clockwork – it made the day relaxed, chilled and laid back!
Tamara and her bridesmaids looked amazing (how gorgeous are short bridesmaid dresses!) and the guys scrubbed well too!! It was a beautiful ceremony at Sutton Bridge Church before heading over to Tydd St Giles Golf Centre for a beautiful marquee reception.

Back in January (although i swear it was warmer then!) I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a bunch of teenagers! We headed up to the little river bank in my village where we had space, freedom and the opportunity for the teenagers to relax, chill and have some fun! They were a little bit shy, incredibly lovely and once they relaxed a bit they soon got going with their poses, laughter and feeling at ease!

I think three words describe yesterdays wedding …. smooth, chilled and relaxed! Everything just ran beautifully and even the rain didn’t phase this pair! Jess had her wellies, a brolly, we dodged the showers and we got some great pictures!

Wow! Its the end of April …. yet it felt like February …. what did we do – we embraced the weather! Today i dont think anything could have phased Anneka .. she was calm, relaxed and happy! The day went beautifully, the Town Hall in King’s Lynn is simply a stunning venue and can i just say the meal was A.mazing!!

After I visited Narborough Hall …. I telephoned Gemma just to *squeal* about its loveliness … this place is amazingly beautiful and the perfect setting for such a beautiful couple. I have so enjoyed working with you both through the engagement shoot, meeting up and your wedding that I honestly left yesterday feeling like we were friends!

Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this beautiful wedding! Jeff eased his nerves, Charlotte was laid back and looked amazing in her tea dress and their children were adorable … they investigated all sections of the church and were just the cutest!

This wedding had just so much loveliness …. it was in the country – check, it had a beautiful beautiful bride – check, it had a cool kind of groom – check, cuteness – check, DIY – check, Vintage – check …. pretty much perfect then!! Adele & Matt are the kind of couple that make you feel warm and whenever you speak to them you just ‘smile’!
Adele had been pouring over Rock My Wedding Blog for lots of inspiration, checking out the real weddings, ideas and creativity in preparation for today …. and the final result was stunning! I honestly could have shared so many detail images in this sneak peek ….. but you’ll just have to wait for the bride and groom to see their pictures first before i blog the whole day (and then i think it will be a 2 parter!!)

The Fun PhotoBooth ….. Basically a whole load of silly props in a vintage trunk, a funky background and the rest is history ~ as they say!
This Fun Booth was my first ‘launch’ one for a Charity Ball in aid of Cancer Research at Wisbech St Mary ~ I wanted to provide something a bit different at the event instead of just the formals and thought what a great place to launch it and see how it goes! I had a table full of chalk boards, feather boa’s, wigs, light sabers, funky glasses, bow ties and hats, put up a large curtain a light and my camera and the rest was up to the guests. With hardly any coaxing … everybody really got into the whole spirit of it, suddenly with a pair of glasses or a hat on everybody giggled, laughed, told funny jokes and really enjoyed themselves!
Since this event, I have now got myself a large vintage trunk and a funky background ready to rock it at the weddings that have booked it this year!
